Letter from the Editor

Dear Dominican students staff, and faculty:

Congratulations on making it past the mid-point of the fall semester! In this letter, I would like to recognize the work of student clubs and organizations at DU. A return to full capacity on-campus signals a readjustment to pre-2020 work, classes and social life. However, with the stress of finances and academics, many simply do not have the energy leftover to devote to campus. Against the backdrop of this stressful environment, the works of student organizations are particularly laudable. Because these are the on-campus leaders who put in time and energy for the betterment of the campus, who carried the torch of what it means to be a Star back to the Cloister Walk, Social Hall, Center for Cultural Liberation, University Ministry etc. They picked up where students of the previous year have left off and we should do our best to support their efforts. So I encourage you to be involved in all that is vital to our university, by signing up as a senator for student government, by reaching out to organize events, or simply by participating to show that you care. Because at the end of the day, all of the events are a crucial part of the college experience and an opportunity to forge connections of a lifetime.
