The 2023 Homecoming game was a truly memorable game to watch despite the drizzling rain.
The game was held between the Alverno College Blazes, the Luther College Norses, and the Dominican Stars.
Not only was Homecoming a fun way to see our Stars play at their first game, but it was also a great way to represent our new first-year students, the people, and the Dominican community.
With exciting activities, such as tie-dying Homecoming t-shirts, axe throwing, and eating delicious food, it was an event that you could not pass out on.
There was also a little fun happening inside the campus. Groups of friends were hanging out in the cultural center and the residence hall and playing games such Loteria.
Watching students come out to this event and showing their support and spirit truly represents Dominican and how we can have fun and meet new people.
The enjoyment and collaboration between family and friends parted those grey clouds and let the sun shined over all of us.
