The Dominican Star’s Editor-in-Chief Thomas Gibbons will be speaking with political sciences students and professors in the coming weeks about the 2020 Presidential Election.
In the second episode of the series, Thomas spoke with Erica Martinez, a political science major, on her project of the West coast for her Elections class and a whole lot more!
Erica’s project detailed projections and diving into the outcomes of each state. In particular, she looked at the voting breakdown based on race and gender. In addition to this, discussion includes potential voter fraud, what a Joe Biden administration will entail and the challenges ahead, and the discussion of COVID-19 and its effect on Election Day and beyond.
