Hello Readers,
Week seven is here, so that means the second edition of our paper is here too!
In this edition, you can expect to read up on inflation at Dominican, an update from the IT department on the university’s internet connection, a historic look at Valentine’s Day, and how Dominican has kicked off Black History Month!
Last week, a petition led by students in Professor Christine Wilson’s LAS class proposed a meal swipe donation drive. The drive is designed to help combat food insecurity at Dominican, which has also been tackled by DU Feeds.
The Star is behind this effort and asks students to scan the QR code below and sign the class petition. We hope the administration will consider student feedback and concerns for the proposed policy change.
We also encourage letters to the editors and ask the community to continue with story tips, letters, and possible collaborations!
