As Dominican University will transition to all-online classes this week, the Dominican Star staff is here to help! This article is your one stop shop for all information regarding housing, dining hall hours, library hours, and more. This post will be updated as we receive more information throughout the week.
Housing
DU students are being asked to move out of the dorms by the end of the week. Staff will be available to check students out of the residence halls during these days and times:
Friday, March 20, 2020 from 11am-7pm
Saturday, March 21 from 11am-6pm
Sunday, March 22 from 11am-6pm
Outside of these times, Express check-outs will be available. Unless you are approved to stay on campus, you must be moved out by Sunday, March 22 at 6pm.
Express check-out staff will be available at WID Coughlin. You will have to fill out the envelope, insert your dorm key into the envelope, and then insert the envelope into the drop box.
Dining Hall
The Dining Hall will remain open while Cyber Cafe will be closed. Starting on March 13th, brunch will be served from 10am to 1pm and dinner from 5pm until 7pm. For more information or any questions, contact diningservices@dom.edu or 524-6446.
Library Hours
The Rebecca Crown Library hours from March 15 to March 29 are as follows:
- Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Saturday 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
- Sundays Closed
The Tech Center will be open 24 hours from March 15 to March 29. Remember to bring your Star Card for access.
