Installation of Cooling/Heating Units Into Dorms on Power Hall’s North Wing

This past summer saw the construction of phase one in Dominican’s aim for the installation of units into all dorms come to a completion.

The dorms in the north wing of Power Hall are now home to these new variable refringent units, these units will serve students with both heating and cooling throughout the year.

Mark Titzer, vice president in Finance and Administration and Treasurer, was thrilled about the completion of the project for the second, third, and fourth floor dorms in the north wing.

“We were on time and budget, and I hope that all students are comfortable in those rooms,” said Titzer.

Fortunately for all remaining Power Hall residents, Titzer outlined that the ease in completion of this summer’s installation will make it possible to complete both the remaining wings of Power next summer.

The first phase was done within the estimated cost of $1.2million, coming from the sale of the Priory Campus and other grant funding said Titzer.
