The Covid-19 pandemic has been resulting in tremendous changes and disruptions over the last eight months. While the Covid-19 pandemic is making businesses focus on short-term survival, understanding the major areas of needed change revealed by the very same pandemic is becoming essential for long-term competitiveness.
What strategies and concepts can be useful to address these issues because they have an impact in our future? That is what the ESG Framework (Environmental Social & Governance) seeks to address. The Covid-19 pandemic has only brought these issues to the forefront and will continue to do so as businesses struggle with the aftermath of the pandemic (those that survive, anyway).
As a college student shouldn’t you be getting familiarized with what this framework is all about? To get familiarized with ESG, attend the upcoming webinar on Nov. 19, 2020 at 10 a.m. It is titled: The ENVIRONMENTAL SOCIAL & GOVERNANCE (ESG) Framework. It is only 40 minutes and you can learn about the issues it covers and how business will use this framework to make business decisions.
The webinar is organized by the Center for Global Peace through Commerce from Dominican University and will be presented by Ramiro J. Atristaín–who has ample experience in finance and investments who happens to be an executive in residence and adjunct professor of finance at Dominican. To sign up for the webinar go to:
