Lewis Hall

Lewis 4th floor – The art wing of Lewis Hall is said to be one of the most haunted locations on campus. Students have claimed to hear footsteps late at night when they’ve been alone studying. Others claim that some paintings have been shifted overnight in the O’Connor Gallery.

Mazzuchelli Hall

Social Hall – When walking out the Social Hall into the Clock Lobby, you can see the archway surrounding the doors. On the sides, there used to be busts that have now had their faces shaven off because people claimed to have heard them yelling, cursing, and following people with their eyes.

Chapel –  Inside the chapel you will find an organ that used to be payed to announced the beginning of mass. It is rarely used now but reports say that students have heard the organ be played when no one is in the chapel.

Power Hall

Clock Lobby – While studying late one night, a girl was murdered in what is now known as the Clock Lobby. Since then, the eyes on the Virgin Mary painting have been a bright red. All the attempts of painting over them has also been a failure as the red always seeps through.

Power 3rd floor dorm – A closed off room on the third floor of power is believed to be haunted by the spirit of a sister that had hung herself. Voices and sounds like rustling and furniture moving is heard coming from that closed off room.

Coughlin Hall

Coughlin One bathroom – Cough One bathroom is said to be haunted by the ghost of a little girl. If alone, the lights mysteriously turn off while you’re in a stall. Reports have claimed that when they’ve looked under the stalls they would see the feet of a little girl.

Fine Arts

Lund Auditorium – When the auditorium was first built, lights were placed in the front of the stage to let actors know where to walk. Before putting on a big show, Dominican students prepared the stage the night before. Upon arriving the day after, all the equipment on stage was destroyed. The students went over video footage to determine the cause of the destruction. In the video, as the light flickers off for a quick second and then turned back on, there was the image of a woman in white along what is now known as the “Ghost Lights” with the destroyed equipment in the back.
