This year, the Wellness Center is excited to announce their new online website created as a convenience for students. DU Wellness Center Online will allow students access to the following: scheduling, confirming and rescheduling or cancelling appointments, sending secure messages to the Wellness Center, entering health information into health records in advance of an appointment, and completing necessary forms and surveys required by the Wellness Center and university protocol.

“Dominican’s Wellness Center staff wants to be respectful of how busy students are and respond to their need of an after-hours means of accessing health information, appointments and forms,” said Elizabeth Ritzman, director of the Wellness Center.

Currently, the Wellness Center is working with Dominican students to get mandatory immunization paper work input, find those who have not turned in immunizations in order to avoid a non-compliance fine of $75, and complete a tuberculosis risk survey.

With an accessible website comes flexibility, convenience, and a better spread of service the Wellness Center is happy to extend.

“The Wellness Center is here to help students stay healthy and emotionally well enough to succeed in their academic goals and to enjoy their learning experience at Dominican,” said Ritzman.

The website can be found on the Wellness Page of the Student Life section on the Dominican University Website.
