The culprit behind the locker room thefts at Dominican University has finally been apprehended by the River Forest Police Department.

On Nov. 7, 20-year-old Darius L Mann of Oakbrook Terrace, was charged with one count of burglary in regards to the Oct. 11 and the Sept. 17 Dominican locker room thefts.

According to the River Forest Police, back on Thurs Oct. 11, the men’s locker room was broken into along with the Sep. 17 break-in of the men’s varsity soccer team while the team practiced in the afternoon, resulting in the loss of personal items like cell phones and credit cards.

Sgt. Mike Thornley of River Forest Police said at the time that while no one has been arrested, “investigations do continue and we do have some leads that are still being pursued.”

Mann has also been linked to several similar incidents on the Concordia University Campus, and his case is pending a grand jury hearing, according to the police report.
