Spring is here, which means it is time to trade soups and hot cocoa for light, refreshing foods. Spring is the perfect time to eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, but if you are on the run or you want to indulge a bit, here are a few of my favorite treats you can find at any grocery store:
Chobani makes a great lime Greek yogurt. It is low in calories and has 12 grams of filling protein. It contains just enough sugar and no preservatives.
Snapea Crisps are baked sugar snap peas that are light, crunchy and delicious! Try the lightly salted version, which is low in sodium.
I love Trader Joe’s Meyer Lemon Cookie Thins. They have a ton of great lemon flavor, but they’re tiny, so you can eat a handful at a time.
Talenti makes a great line of frozen sorbet, sweetened with real sugar instead of corn syrup. They feature real fruit like mangos, raspberries, blood oranges and lemons. Their products are packed with tons of flavor!
Kashi’s Chocolate Chip Chia bars are my favorite granola bar. They are sweet, crispy and full of tasty chocolate chips. You can find 23 grams of whole grains inside, including quinoa and buckwheat.
